We procure the finest Raw Cashew Nuts (RCN) directly from the farm gates of Panruti and select regions in West Africa. Our field experts conduct rigorous cutting tests to ensure high Kernel Out-turn Ratio (KOR) and zero contamination before purchase.

Raw nuts are transported in moisture-proof vehicles to our strategic warehouses. We maintain optimal humidity and temperature levels to prevent fermentation and spoilage, ensuring the raw material remains fresh throughout the season before it enters the production line.

Our state-of-the-art facility utilizes steam-boiling technology to soften shells without damaging the kernel. This is followed by automated shelling, peeling, and triple-stage grading using Buhler Sortex optical cameras and human QC for 99.8% purity.

Global Delivery

Finished kernels are vacuum-packed with CO2 flushing to ensure a 12-month shelf life. Our logistics network ensures seamless container movement from our factory to ports in the USA, EU, and Middle East, handling all customs and export documentation.

C. Sivasubramanian at Kothawal Bazar, the heart of Chennai’s wholesale market, our journey began with a strong commitment to supplying premium cashew kernels to the city’s most demanding customers.

From the very beginning, Pioneer Cashew Industries Limited quickly became one of the top three suppliers in the Chennai market, serving hotels, sweet stalls, and provisional stores across Chennai with consistent quality and dependable supply. In 1989, we expanded our horizons by entering the global market through exports, taking the taste and quality of Indian cashew kernels to customers worldwide.

The company’s growth continued with the leadership of the second generation, Mr. S. Rajamanickam, who took charge and played a key role in advancing the company’s progress with modern business practices. Today, the legacy is proudly carried forward by the third generation, Mr. R. Shrivatshan, alongside Mr. Rajamanickam. What is your policy on broken kernels?

For 'Whole' grades (WW180-WW450), we strictly adhere to AFI standards which allow a maximum of 5% broken kernels. Our internal sorting typically achieves a breakage rate of less than 3%.

Do you supply to the domestic Indian market?

Yes, we have a robust domestic network serving wholesalers, hotel chains, and sweet manufacturers across India. GST registration is mandatory for domestic B2B purchases.

How do you handle fumigation?

All containers are fumigated before sealing. We use Phosphine or Methyl Bromide as per the importing country's regulations to ensure the cargo is pest-free upon arrival.
